Looks like an interlacing issue that Vegas cannot overcome. Downloading free Resolve now. Didn't solve audio problem. Initially I could not read the audio or video stream in Vegas. Premiere doesn't show audio for the clips. Looks like you have to write code every time you want to open a file.

Gspot identifies the audio format as 0xfffe extensible wav format khz 8 channels and states the required audio codec is installed, but the audio does not play back in anything, including windows media player. Results 1—1 of 1 1.
